Our approach
Each new undertaking is an ambitious project. Therefore, we also apply the classic methods from project management. Our projects consist of the following phases, see illustration.
In all our productions we indicate the current status and change it as soon as a new phase has been reached. The respective process steps are explained below:
Evaluation/
Planning
Conception/
Script
Funding
Shooting
Post-
Production
Festivals /
Marketing
Market

Cash Return
Phase | Description |
---|---|
Evaluation/ Planning | New ideas and concepts for movies or TV series are screened, developed and evaluated. If a project seems interesting, it is planned in terms of time and budget. |
Conception/ Script | In this phase, the new idea is worked out concretely (concept) and then written as a script. |
Funding | A financing plan is drawn up, which may include government funding, investor participation and film tax credits. |
Shooting | The shooting takes place either directly on the original locations or in film studios. |
Post- Production | During post-production, the film is edited, synchronized, computer-animated special effects are added, and the opening and closing credits are created. |
Festivals/ Marketing | During this phase new productions are presented to the public at movie fairs and film festivals. |
Market intodruction | During the “Go-To-Market” phase, contracts are negotiated with film distributors or streaming services and the production is sold. Possible marketing channels are cinemas, streaming services, DVD/Blu-ray or television broadcasters. |
Cash Flow | At the end of this process is the "release", which usually lays in the hands of the buyer or film distributor. In this process, the work is released in cinemas, as a DVD/Blu-ray, on streaming platforms or on television. |
